In God We Trust
In GOD We Trust, is not just a motto for our great country. It is not just a phrase that is printed on our money. In GOD We Trust is a way of life for many of us. In these uncertain times, I have made the choice to Trust in GOD.
I refuse to put my hopes of a successful life in the hands of The Surgeon General, The Director of NIAID or Nancy Pelosi. My trust will ALWAYS be in GOD.
I am not trying to persuade you on what name you should use to refer to GOD. What I am saying is, Trust IN GOD because HE has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and a sound mind. Many societal influencers in media and politics are so sadistic that they try to feed us daily doses of COVID-19 death tolls under the guise of just wanting to keep us informed. These daily death totals perpetuate sending out fear energy into the world in order to make us believe that they have all the answers and that we should trust them to help and guide us. I say, no thank you, I will Trust In GOD.
In some areas, legislatures have taken it upon themselves to ban worshipping GOD in churches, mosques and temples all under the false narrative of keeping the public safe. These are the same legislatures in some cities who provide needles for drug addicts instead of programs and shelters, all in the name of keeping the public safe. These are the legislatures who advocate for killing helpless unborn babies. Where is the public safety for those innocent children? These are the same legislatures who allow the homeless to “shelter in place” in the nation’s busiest airport right here in Atlanta. Some estimates put more than 200 homeless people living in the airport. Where is the public safety in that?
Under the heading of public safety, we are seeing some politicians try to undermine our Republic, our Constitution, our Rights and our way of life. They want us to believe that they have the answers that we should trust. I say, America, continue to Trust In God. Some liberals have tried to use this pandemic to justify everything from universal healthcare, universal income and even student loan forgiveness. The unfortunate part of this is there are some who will blindly do what they are told, without question. For those of us who trust in the Great Creator, we will not be fooled nor led astray. We understand that there are precautions we must take to remain safe. We will also know there are many liberal politicians who only come to steal, kill and destroy our way of life.
We were created as social beings. The Lord said, it is not good for man to be alone. Trust In GOD. This whole “social distancing” and social isolation goes against who we are. Think about it, normally we only socially isolate criminals as a form of punishment by placing them in jail or solitary confinement to reprogram their thoughts and actions. It is considered punishment because we were never intended to be alone for long periods.
My friends, I am writing this all to say, we are not a country built on fear. From the Revolutionary War to the bombing of Pearl Harbor, to the September 11th attacks we have never cowered in the face of adversity. This pandemic is no different. We will get through this! We must continue to elect good, upstanding, conservative politicians. We must vote in large numbers to be sure that our Representatives think like we think, believe like we believe because, IN GOD WE TRUST.
Join us in keeping our county represented by those who believe in our conservative, values that have made Gwinnett a great place to live. This is not the time to be afraid. Fear is what liberals try to force on us daily. Being more than conquerors who Trust In GOD, that is who we are.
CHAIRMAN, GWINNETT COUNTY REPUBLICANS
Great is Thy faithfulness, O God my Father;
There is no shadow of turning with Thee,
Thou changest not, Thy compassions they fail not,
As Thou hast been, Thou forever wilt be.
Great is Thy faithfulness!
Great is Thy faithfulness!
Morning by morning new mercies I see
All I have needed Thy hand hath provided
Great is Thy faithfulness, Lord unto me!
Summer and winter and springtime and harvest,
Sun, moon, and stars in their courses above;
Join with all nature in manifold witness,
To Thy great faithfulness, mercy, and love.
Pardon for sin and a peace that endureth,
Thine own dear presence to cheer and to guide;
Strength for today, and bright hope for tomorrow
Blessings all mine, with ten thousand beside.
