Matt Reeves is a real estate, probate banking and business litigation partner at Andersen, Tate and Carr, which is the largest law firm in Senate District 48.
An active Republican, Matt Reeves was legal counsel to Chairman Wendell Willard of the House Judiciary Committee during the 2008 Georgia General Assembly. He volunteered as the Gwinnett County Republican Party's legal counsel for years. During college at Mercer, Matt worked for then-Congressman Saxby Chambliss, one of the first Republicans elected to high office in middle and South Georgia.
Active in our community, Reeves has served as Duluth Rotary Club President, Gwinnett County Bar Association President, Duluth Business Association President, North Fulton Chamber of Commerce Board Member, Duluth Fall Festival legal counsel, and on various church committees over the years.
Reeves graduated from the University of Georgia Law School with honors and Mercer University with high honors.
Reeves and his wife Suzette have lived in Duluth for nearly fifteen years and have three school-age children.
